Hi Everybody

Why do people who are hungry for the Lord leave the church? I can come up with a million worldly, superficial reasons. But when you really get down to the marrow of the issue…is there any other reason than the fact that they are either full of the world and there is too much Christ in the church

OR…

They are full of Christ and there is too much world in the church!!

Marinate on that!!

Kent Hovind?

I just found out that Hovind is prison. Let's pray that it doesn't effect all of the ministry he's done over the years, even though I don't agree with the whole tax thing, He has done a lot of work to help others understanding evolution and creation science.

FINDING MY WAY THROUGH THE DARKNESS

Since my last post my life has been interesting to say the least the pain and hurt I have experienced has been unimaginable. But GOD has been seeing me through it. Down in the dumps

I hate my job I mean literally hate it everyday I come in I'm swamped with paperwork and deadlines I have to see the man who broke my heart and try to be civil with him my inbox is always spilling over with files and no matter how many I do they keep piling up I have never been so stressed out at a job in my life. Great time tonight

Tonight I checked out a different Bible study of college students (other than my usual). Great time, great people. It's amazing how we often hear about people complaining about finding friends or fellowship. This is just another example of how it's all up to YOU making the effort. There are plenty of opportunities out there where you can get plugged in. Statement of Faith

We Affirm the Following to Be Unquestionably True:

1. The existence of God:
a. As the creator of all things, he alone being uncreated.
b. As holy, righteous, and the avenger of unrighteousness (i.e. the judge of all the earth).

2. All have sinned:
a. Against God, and also against their fellow man.
b. And that beyond self-repair, or self acquittal.
c. Without excuse and are subject to the judgment and eternal wrath of God.

3. Jesus Christ:
a. Is the Lord of all.
b. Is the one and only (unique) Son of God.
c. Came in the flesh—that is, his human nature is completely human; he was born of a woman (a virgin), with no human father.
d. Is God, and his divine nature is completely Divine. He created all things and was himself not created.
e. Was tempted in every way like we are, yet is entirely without sin.
f. Died for our sins as a propitiation—(paying our penalty as our substitute and suffering the wrath of God in our place).
g. Was buried, and was raised again bodily from the dead three days later.
h. Was seen alive after his resurrection by his Apostles, whom he commissioned and sent to preach his gospel (i.e. the authority of the New Testament). To this gospel the Law & the Prophets bear witness (i.e. the authority of the Old Testament).
i. Now sits at the right hand of God the Father in heaven and will soon return to judge all men living and dead, and to reign upon the earth; his kingdom shall have no end.
j. Offers forgiveness of sins and eternal life freely by his grace to all who will repent and put their trust in him. All who hear and believe his gospel and call upon his name (in genuine faith) shall be saved. All who do not shall be eternally damned.

4. The Holy Spirit:
a. Is actually & fully God, both the Spirit of the Father and of the Son.
b. Indwells the believer at the moment of conversion.
c. Empowers believers in Christ by grace to live the life required of them by God.
d. Regenerates (recreates) the believer’s heart, both at conversion and throughout the believer’s earthly life (i.e. “sanctifies” the believer).
