Should we boycott celebrities who deny Jesus, and promote something else??

I know that most people are aware of Tom Cruise's love for Scientology. What about people who claim to be Christians, but think that what Tom beleives is right for him, and people who believe that there are many ways to get to God, or Heaven!?!

I recently came across a video in which Will Smith supports Tom's right to believe ( which I agree with, we all have the right to believe in whatever we want). but what upset me was Will's attitude about his own Christian faith. He basically said something along this line: He said that if he can believe in a God who was born from a virgin, then why is what Tom beleives in so ridicules...I felt like Will was mocking the virgin birth.

It is getting really weird out there, with Oprah and her so-called church, Tom Cruise, Will Smith, and so many other actors who deny Christ, and cling to something else.

Should we watch and enjoy their movies?? songs?? I honestly want to know because I really don't know.

I enjoy movies, specially movies starring Will Smith!!!

This has nothing to do with us being friends with unbelievers. Just to do with supporting people's careers who not only deny Christ, but also demote Christ to just another human being.

I think we should boycott Oprah, but not doctor Phil, definitely not Dr. Phil.

In my opinion, I would not like to hear music or watch movies or anything else when someone who is in them openly denies or has some kind of negative attitude against Christanity or Christ. But if you don't know people and what they really believe in, then it is ok because you did not know. The Bible actually teaches that we should try to be separate and be Holy as He is Holy. Avoid all appearances of evil, and when your conscience is bothering you, that means your spirit is convicting you. In Romans it says that to those that think it is sin, then to them, it is sin.

I agree with what your saying in regards to what the Bible says about being holy, and separating from evil. But what if I know what people say about Christianity, but still want to watch their movies. Personally, I do not like Oprah, and don't not care to watch her show. I think that that might be because she is totally on the wrong end of things, and is very open about it. However, I do like to watch movies, and listen to good music of people who claim not to be Christians, but aren't against it either. .....I'll write more on this soon...have to go to a Bible study :)

This comes down to a personal choice according to what your conscience or (soul, spirit) tells you because God speaks to us through our spirit, and I have experienced many times that the way you can tell that God does not approve of something is that inward witness of not having peace about it. The world calls this "a gut feeling". Besides that, if you want to please the Father, go to him and ask Him what movies or activities you should go to, then see if you have peace or no peace about it. If you don't know by your own reasoning, this is the only way to find out, by asking God the Father and waiting for a response.
