How did you come to know and trust in Jesus Christ?: I was fifteen when, after attending various churches the previous couple years, my father brought me to one where for the first time I heard the gospel message told in a way I understood. It seemed that before this time I took for granted my assumption of the Bible's truth, as Sunday school faithfully taught me. But ironically, the time that I had consciously started to look to it for guidance is also when I began to question it. For the little I knew about reason and faith, my mind and heart's initial effort to weigh the Bible's worthiness and acceptability was sufficient to cause my devotion until the next encounter in an ensuing series of challenges.

Six years after the inception of my personal christening I experienced (discovered what always seemed obvious in the Bible) a shift in my view of God's sovereignty in 2004 which radically transformed and renewed my passion for the gospel. Knowing the raw power of the basics and the true meaning of the gospel, I can't fathom what my faith was founded on before this point in my life.

What is the Gospel?: The truth of man's hopelessness and God's sufficiency, holiness, and sovereign mercy.

Tonight I checked out a different Bible study of college students (other than my usual). Great time, great people. It's amazing how we often hear about people complaining about finding friends or fellowship. This is just another example of how it's all up to YOU making the effort. There are plenty of opportunities out there where you can get plugged in. In that duration alot of things are changed. we spent last year helping peoples affected from Cyclon Yemyin which hited the areas of Southern Coastal areas of Balochistan, Pakistan. At the end of last year (in October 2007) I got married with my cousin (cousin marraiges are common in Pakistan) Nazia, We are expecting our first child this summer.

John is still there in Karachi, he is mostly dadicated to the area of Lyari (which we have visited couple of times when you were there). He is helping some of Baloch Belivers to form an organization and run small development projects.

Joe and Marry joined extensive urdu learning program in norther hill station of Pakistan (Murree).
